Skiing in the Swiss Alps
My journey took me to the majestic Swiss Alps near Bern, a dream destination for any ski enthusiast. The exhilarating experience of skiing down these renowned slopes was a mix of adrenaline and awe, with each turn offering breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and picturesque valleys.
A Serendipitous Meeting
Amidst the Alpine adventure, I had the good fortune of meeting a charming German family. Our shared love for skiing quickly turned into a series of delightful encounters. Their stories, laughter, and companionship added a special layer of warmth to my snowy escapades.
Bern's Enchanting Streets
Away from the slopes, Bern's cobblestone streets and historical charm captivated me. Strolling through the Old Town, I was enchanted by the medieval architecture, vibrant markets, and the famous Zytglogge clock tower.
Cultural Immersion and Fond Farewells
Sampling Swiss delicacies and immersing myself in the local culture of Bern rounded out my trip. As I bid farewell to the Alps and my new friends, I left with a heart full of memories, promising to return to this enchanting city.

What an amazing experience to have, especially meeting and making new friends/family for life. I've never boarded outside of the states, well really only Colorado, but I can totally visualize your adventure shredding down the mountain with all the snowcapped mountains. The food had to have been amazing and authentic.
I had a similar experience when I traveled to Indonesia. My driver ended up becoming a good friend, who invited me to his village to take part in all the ceremonies at each temple. His wife made me an outfit to wear, and I got to be blessed at each temple.
